Hey baby cakes,
I love you.
Close your eyes. Breathe.
Oh, there she is, hello.
How ya doin?
In the words of the marvelous Mary Oliver in her poem Wild Geese,
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Yep, that’s all you have to do. Allow yourself to be, as you are. When you get quiet it’s a chance to touch in with that part of yourself that lies underneath the layers of false conditioning, stories and limiting beliefs.
When you find her, your job is to simply say yes.
P.S. if you’re still in a dancing mood, a nod to the queen.
