How is last weeks gift of nothing wrong working out for you?
For me, it’s been golden. The small voice in my head that can whisper cruel things to me (stupid, wrong, you should be ashamed, what were you thinking, you need to do more, you can’t do that…) changed her tune— instead I heard things like— how interesting, fun, that’s pretty bad ass, yeah, you should sleep more. It’s ok. You’ve got this. APPROVED.
It happened effortlessly. All I had to do was notice. I’ve intentionally practiced speaking kinder words to myself for years. And sometimes I still argue with them. This time, I let them be. I let it all be.
The drama felt so boring to me. And letting go of the drama felt so good.
